ToMaS


AST server ToMaS allows the bank to use the terminal equipment for rendering services in the sphere of banking self-service.

The pattern of the banking products and services sales channels via ASTs includes the following components:
• ASTs (kiosks)
• operation server ToMaS;
• informational web-server;
• monitoring system X.3;
• card back-office of the bank;
• automatized banking system of the bank ABS;
• authorization center of the bank client’s cards identification;
• processing center of the international payment systems;
• prepaid services sales server (servers).

Kiosks will allow the clients to perform the following operations:
• obtaining the information concerning the current credit indebtedness of the customer;
• obtaining the information concerning the term of the next tranche making for credit indebtedness repayment;
• obtaining the information concerning the amount of the next tranche;
• redemption of the credit indebtedness by cash;
• obtaining the information concerning the last five operations on the credit redemption (mini-statement);
• mobile communication vouchers (replenishment codes) buying;
• obtaining the information concerning the new programs of the bank;
• obtaining the information concerning the new service points opening;
• calculation of the credit amount by the client using the function «credit calculator».

In the course of operation, the kiosks, via terminal server, perform the interaction with the automatized banking system of the bank, prepaid services sales server. Informational web-server provides the storage and transfer of the corresponding advertising-reference information to the kiosks. The tasks of monitoring and remote operation of the kiosk network are performed with the help of the monitoring system.

Implementation features:
• specific architecture of the ToMaS client, due to which the ToMaS client can work on the information kiosk, as well as on the ATM without TouchScreen (not interrupting the standard scripts of the processing center);
• modular design of the system foresees the rapid and convenient expansion of the kiosk network range of services;
• consumer dialogue activation at the terminal is possible either by touching the TouchScreen, or with the help of the payment card (in this case the menu can be different);
• possibility of simultaneous interaction of the terminal with the ToMaS Server and the processing of the international payment systems allows to combine on one self-service device rendering of both the ToMaS Server services and processing services.

Additional advantages
The usage of the additional software component ProTopas/Web-extensions allows realizing directly on the self-service devices the access to html-pages. Access can be organized to the pages located on the local hard disc of the terminal, as well as the pages on the Web-server, the variant of combined access is also possible (static part of the pages is lodged locally, dynamic – loads from the network). The system of monitoring and operation also gives the additional advantages. While using it on the self-service device, the independent from the functional software agent-program is launched, which in its operation exchanges the information with the monitoring server, conducts the low-level monitoring of the hardware and software part of the terminal, and also gives the opportunity to operate the terminal (input / output device to work, reboot, file transfer, etc.). One of the important functions is to provide the monitoring of all ToMaS-transactions and the possibility of their review from the operator’s workplace.
